Brandon and I are looking for a speaker for the June 2016 meeting. Notionally, this meeting will be scheduled for Tuesday, June 14 at WebAssign.
I would like to specifically invite and encourage anyone who has not presented to the group to consider presenting. Even if you're new to programming and Ruby, the possibilities are very, very good that you have a talk to share with the group.
Some ideas, particularly geared toward new-to-programming/new-to-Ruby folks:
- Ups and downs of working on your first full-time Ruby/Rails job?
- What's you've found beneficial and/or detrimental in establishing your career
- What coming into Ruby is like for a newcomer today
This is by no means exhaustive and I guarantee you that your idea for the talk you can give is a lot better than the ideas I think might be good.
If you're interested, head on over to the talk submission form: http://www.triangleruby.com/submit/
